Will donations be directed to help an individual child?

The Happy Africa Foundation believes that children chosen for sponsorship should be ambassadors to the communities in which they live and schools which they attend.

We feel it necessary to pool part of your sponsorship funds to ensure continued support of your sponsored child, should you withdraw from the program; as well as to avoid possible problems such as: rivalry for potential sponsors, jealousy and or favourtism.

Of the amount required for annual sponsorship: 53% goes directly towards the individual child, 29.5% towards general funds and 17.5% toward administration fees.
