Terms and Conditions

1. There will not be more than one sponsor supporting each child.
2. Sponsorship does not entitle the donor to any rights of ownership or decision making over the future of the sponsored child.
3. You can specify if you want to be an anonymous donor.
4. In the unfortunate event your sponsored child passes away/moves out of the reach of The Happy Africa Foundation’s capacities to assist; you will be informed at the soonest possible date. You will be given the option to withdraw your sponsorship by means of not renewing the following year or redirect your funds to another child.
5. No refunds will be given on sponsorship already paid.
6. The total annual fee for the Sponsorship Programme is required in advance of sponsorship commencing of your child.
7. Payment is taken in the form of bank transfer, cheque, cash deposit or can be done online through pay pal (*if paying by cash on site – this can be done in the local currency at the rate of the day)
8. You are able sign up for our sponsorship programme at anytime throughout the year.
9. Withdrawal from the sponsorship program requires one month (30 days) notice.
10. Renewal of sponsorship will be due on an annual basis.
11. If no response to our annual reminder is received within one month The Happy Africa Foundation will assume you are withdrawing your sponsorship and will inform the recipient child’s carers.
