Rural Pre-School and Community Project, Vilanculos
A stone’s throw away from the World Heritage Site Bazaruto Archipelago in rural Vilanculos, volunteers are involved in a number of exciting community development initiatives. This project was launched in the wake of Cyclone Favio at the start of 2007 and has overcome many obstacles to become the source of inspiration that it is today.
To date volunteers have built over twenty homes for people who lost theirs during the cyclone and are either widowed or disabled and so are incapable of doing the construction work themselves…Read more
