Lucy Pollock
Originally trained as a beauty and aromatherapist, Lucy travelled extensively before studying Business BA (Hons) at Manchester. Lucy then worked as a human resources manager, but still continued to work on numerous voluntary projects in Africa. After leaving the UK, Lucy worked for African Impact in South Africa and Zambia managing community projects. Lucy now manages the Happy Africa Foundation and is excited to work with the all the projects in eastern and southern Africa. She is enjoying the opportunity to help develop new initiatives with the local communities that the foundation supports.

Memory Mundia
Memory is originally from Mongu, the heart of Western Province in Zambia. She is from the Losi tribe. The Losi people are reknown for the Kumbouka Cermonies in which they invite people from all over the world to celebrate with them as they move from the flood plains to higher ground.
After studying Nutrition & Health under Home Economics Mongu Training Centre in Mongu, Memory decided to pursue a career in buiness. She studied Business Administration and Management Studies and received an Advanced Diploma at Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commercial Studies in Lusaka, Zambia. Upon completing her studies in 2009 she moved to Livingstone and started working for the Happy Africa Foundation. She is responsible for co-ordinating the Foundation’s Sponsor a Child programme. Memory enjoys her work as she loves the opportunity she has to meet many people from different cultures and backgrounds.
